biography
London based multi-media artist specialising in collage and digital art.
My work focuses on subjects such as mindfulness and the sublime, by creating otherworldly landscapes for the aliens I create and the viewers to explore.
I aim to recreate the sense of calm and curiosity that I feel when I'm exploring a new place and taking photos. The experience of surrendering yourself to nature and letting your surroundings consume you is what I try to illustrate for those that see my work.
Often in my process I will combine different mediums together, using photography and digital editing software. However, I'm always looking to encoporate new mediums including painting, drawing, 3D software and video art to experiment with.
One of my greatest influences is Salvador Dali, which is where I draw inspiration for my confusing use of depth of field, particularly in landscapes. Another influence is the talented digital artist Leif Podhajski which can be seen as similar to the work I make that uses less photography and more computer generated art and is the reason why I often make work with album covers in mind.
Collaboration is a huge part of my practice and core beliefs, which has led me to join The Collective Dots and start a collaborative project known as 'Convergence online'.
Born in England and graduated a Fine Art course with a first class honours degree from London Metropolitan University.

'Convergence'
The first of a series of group exhibitions that unite artists through collaboration merging two artist collectives together. 29th-30th March 2019 hosted at C4RD gallery in Highbury and Islington.
The second of the Convergence series
hosted by 2 Girls Cafe, Peckham for over 3 months showing individual work from both Amanda Leigh and myself, as well as some collaborative work.

Initiated and currently involved in an ongoing online project
'Convergence Online' inviting and facilitating a growing number of digital artists to collaborate and promote each other. Our group of artists are also showing a strong interest in crypto art and we plan to use our collective to maximise our efforts in the emerging crypto art scene.
